h·ati h·ati is a travel studio in Lombok. We help independent travellers work out what to do with their time on the island, then coordinate the drivers, guides and local partners.
h·ati h·ati was founded by someone who first arrived in Lombok as a traveller and is run day to day by a local team who grew up on the island. We work with drivers, guides, hosts and small businesses we know personally and would send a friend to without hesitating.
h·ati h·ati is part of The Untravelist, an independent editorial travel platform launching in 2026.

A different way to plan a trip
Independent travel gives you freedom. It also means making dozens of decisions: where to stay, how to get around, which places are worth the trip and who to book with.
Some travellers enjoy the research. Others would rather spend that time on the island. And sometimes you just want a second opinion from someone who knows the place well.
Most of Lombok's experiences aren't difficult to find. Knowing which ones are worth your time, and how to fit them together, is the harder part. Different sources have different motivations, which can make it difficult to know which advice to trust.
h·ati h·ati works differently. Because our advice is paid for by travellers rather than by the places we recommend, we can suggest what fits your trip instead of what serves a commercial arrangement. The people and businesses we recommend keep more of what they earn and this is our way of making tourism in Lombok benefit the people who make it possible.
